Buckinghamshire Council has granted permission for Phoenix Hall in Beaumont Way, to operate as both a scout hut and an alternative education facility. However, residents raised concerns that introducing a daytime use could worsen parking and congestion along Beaumont Way. Residents also questioned whether the proposed on-site parking arrangements were realistic and enforceable and raised concerns about additional noise and disturbance. Hazlemere Parish Council did not object but raised concerns about parking and speeding. The officer said the Beaumont Way and Holmer Green Road junction had satisfactory visibility and that sufficient parking was available within the application site.
