Aldi say they are investing £100 million to reduce prices on 330 everyday items, including food, household goods, and personal care products, in their latest effort to support families through the summer holidays. The retailer says the latest price cuts are intended to 'keep grocery bills as low as possible'. Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: "It has never been more important that everyday grocery essentials and family favourites remain affordable. Aldi has also recently announced the return of its Summer Support Scheme, giving away £50 shops to families every day throughout July and August. The latest price drop aims to help shoppers stretch their budgets further during the school holidays.
