Planning documents show that the owner of 33 Sandbourne Road wants to remove the individual flats into a single family home and avoid turning the place into a house of multiple occupation (HMO).
The plans, designed to accommodate multi-generational living, include one main open-plan kitchen and living room area that can fit up to 16 people.
The building will also see solar panels, an air source heat pump, and air conditioning fitted.
The first floor will boast a “private bedroom suite” with ocean views, alongside a new family bathroom and a bedroom.
The second floor will see two more bedrooms and a shared bathroom, organised into a coherent floor plan.
