Visitors to Bournemouth Pavilion will be given a rare chance to step backstage and explore the Grade II listed building, which opened in March 1929, during Dorset Architectural Heritage Week this September. Organised by the East Dorset Heritage Trust, the event celebrates the county’s history through tours and events. Nicola Coney, entertainments and events manager for BH Live, said: "Bournemouth Pavilion has stood at the heart of the town's cultural life for almost a century. "Generations of residents and visitors have created lasting memories here, whether attending world-class performances, community events, celebrations or conferences." Tours will run on Monday, September 14, Thursday, September 17, and Friday, September 18.
