The Railway Hotel in Fordingbridge reopened on Wednesday, August 5, under the care of experienced publican Jason Schinkel. The Railway Hotel will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Built in the 1860s by Dorchester brewer Eldridge Pope, the hotel originally served passengers travelling through Fordingbridge Railway Station. The Railway Hotel features five newly designed en-suite guest rooms, a self-contained two-bedroom cottage, and accessible guest facilities.
