Development announces availability of $45.6M to improve access to housing across Ohio

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Development has announced $45.6 million in grants is now available through the Welcome Home Ohio program to help more Ohioans achieve the dream of homeownership.
“That’s the real mark of success, and that’s why we’re so proud to continue this program.”
Additionally, $20 million in nonrefundable tax credits is available through the biennium for qualifying rehabs and new construction once a property is sold.
Since its inception, Welcome Home Ohio has awarded nearly $86 million to support the creation of 727 homes in 63 counties.
