This year’s lineup begins with the Pet Photography Competition & Exhibit, followed by the long-running Scarecrows in the Village display and the beloved Gingerbread Competition & Display during the holiday season. Beginning September 7, visitors can enjoy more than 100 unique scarecrow creations crafted by local residents and organizations. Those interested in entering have until September 2 to submit their scarecrow creations for a chance to win cash prizes. Featuring more than 100 handmade gingerbread creations, this annual event welcomes entries from local residents, organizations, students, children, and professional bakers. Categories range from Traditional Holiday Gingerbread House and Edible Americana to Incredibly Unusual 3-Dimensional Creation and several youth divisions.
