The University of South Africa (Unisa) has issued a reminder to the public to attend the upcoming Unisa African Music Festival – the second such event of its name. “The UNISA Music Foundation proudly presents the Opening Concert of the 2nd UNISA African Music Festival, an evening celebrating the richness, diversity, and vibrancy of African musical traditions. The festival opens with a spectacular performance by world-renowned African jazz guitarist Louis Mhlanga,” reads the description of the Opening Concert. “The UNISA Music Foundation proudly presents the Gala Evening of the 2nd UNISA African Music Festival, the grand finale celebrating African musical excellence through an extraordinary showcase of internationally acclaimed artists and exceptional homegrown talent. Like the Opening Concert, this performance will also be joined by a team of artists playing traditional music.
