The Norwegian Seamen’s Church has confirmed that it intends to remain in Singapore while seeking a buyer for its property at Pasir Panjang Road.
ScandAsia previously reported that the historic hilltop property had been placed on the market with a guide price of SGD 70 million.
The Seamen’s Church has now confirmed that it plans to move to smaller and more suitable premises in the city.
He added that Singapore and Southeast Asia remain strategically important, as the church is its only location in this part of Asia.
The property remains on the market, with interested buyers invited to submit offers by 15 September 2026.
