A Mississippi industrial tank manufacturer announced a $5.75 million expansion, which will create dozens of new jobs and position the company for continued growth in aerospace and other industrial markets. Chandler Russ, executive director of Natchez Inc., the area’s economic development agency, said the expansion will bring approximately 28 new jobs averaging pay of $62,000 per year. The expansion project also encompasses acquiring quality manufacturing equipment, expanding storage areas, improving gravel and drainage infrastructure, and installing new gas and water utility lines. The Mississippi Development Authority is assisting through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive program, with additional support provided by Adams County.
