How my homelab storage evolved over time
['Ruben Schade']

I basically had workloads split into two “NAS” machines:A Debian machine using XFS.
A FreeBSD system using UFS2, and a host of drives.
Minako Aino 1.0The original FreeBSD machine had a hodgepodge of drives mounted within an Antec Three Hundred case.
I never actually used fdisk(8); by the time I used FreeBSD seriously we had gpart(8) available in base.
Clara and I had started playing Minecraft, and using the FreeBSD machine to host jails running a Plex media server, music streaming, data storage, and a VPN gateway.
