A murder followed by a suicide is believed to have caused the deaths of two men in a bar in the Le-Plateau-Mont-Royal borough of Montreal. Police officers discovered the two men inside, wounded by firearms, and their deaths were pronounced at the scene, said another SPVM spokesperson, Manuel Couture. A security perimeter was quickly set up to protect the crime scene. SPVM major crimes investigators were expected to interview witnesses throughout the day and review images captured by surveillance cameras in the area. The SPVM investigation is now focusing on a homicide followed by a suicide, whereas initially it was a question of two suspicious deaths.
