SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men’s golf team will wrap up the fall slate with the Trinity Forest Invitational on Sunday-Tuesday, Oct. 5-7, at Trinity Forest Golf Club (par 72/7,617 yards). The Roadrunners have played in the Trinity Forest Invitational six times previously, including last year when they finished 15th behind Vargas’ tie for 43rd. UTSA is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Badger Invitational on Sept. 22-23 in Madison, Wisconsin. Vargas is close behind with a 73.89 scoring average in nine rounds with three red numbers. His best score of the season came in his last round, a 2-under 70 that helped him finish 40th at the Badger Invitational.
