The course, priced at £250 with potential funding for future employees, is split over two weeks. The first will be September 5–7 and then September 11–13. Trainees will learn pool rescue techniques, CPR and first aid, emergency response procedures, lifeguard surveillance and prevention, and take part in practical rescue scenarios to build real-life skills and confidence. Successful candidates will gain the qualifications needed to work as professional lifeguards.
