A 17-year-old driver struck a stroller carrying a 20-month-old baby on Thursday evening in Montreal.
The toddler had to be hospitalized, but the toddler’s life is not in danger.
The collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Montpellier Boulevard, near Muir Street, in the Saint-Laurent borough.
“Shortly after the intersection with Muir Street, the toddler’s mother and aunt were reportedly crossing the street at a crosswalk with the child in a stroller.
That’s when the vehicle reportedly struck the stroller,” explained Johany Charland, spokesperson for the Montreal police (SPVM).
