The group moved onto Emerald Park in Gorleston last Thursday and had been ordered to leave by eviction notices issued by Great Yarmouth Borough Council.
However, Great Yarmouth First councillor, Kevin Huggins, said that the group had "doubled" in size over the weekend.
A spokesman for Great Yarmouth Borough Council said: "We're pleased to confirm that the unauthorised encampment has now moved off site.
The park has now cleared (Image: GYBC)"Our teams are already on site carrying out a thorough clean-up of the Council-owned land at Emerald Park to restore the area as quickly as possible.
"The site is now safe and has been returned for everyone to enjoy, including the new play area. "
