The centres at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston earned the Community Benefit award, which celebrates their contribution to improving access to diagnostic services. The centres provide modern, purpose-built facilities for tests and scans, enabling quicker investigations and earlier diagnosis for patients across Norfolk and Waveney. Its Community Diagnostic Centre supported almost 40,000 patient appointments during 2025/26, including 19,333 X-rays and 9,212 ultrasound scans.
