NTRUHS directs affiliated physiotherapy colleges to implement NCAHP's revised BPT curriculum

Vijayawada: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has asked all its affiliated physiotherapy colleges in Andhra Pradesh to implement the revised Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) curriculum developed by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), New Delhi.
Addressing principals and faculty members from nearly 70 affiliated physiotherapy colleges, Dr Chandrasekhar said that proposals have been sent to the government to introduce BPT courses in state medical colleges, which would expand opportunities for students.
Srikanth, representatives of the State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council, and principals from nearly 70 physiotherapy colleges, as per TNIE report.
She added that the Commission will soon notify minimum standards for institutions offering allied health programmes.
