Police officers have been forced to jump out of the way after a stolen car was driven directly at them during a dramatic arrest in Melbourne’s Heidelberg West. When police got out of their unmarked police car to attend the property, an allegedly stolen car parked in the driveway was driven straight at them. The vehicle then lost control and crashed into a neighbour’s fence, causing significant damage, before allegedly ramming into the unmarked police car. The allegedly stolen Honda CRV was located later on Friday on Tobruk Avenue in Heidelberg West.
