Hyderabad: In a major push toward modernising state governance, Telangana Information Technology and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said the State Government plans to establish a Digital Assembly and a Digital Council.
Powering state administration with AI, quantum computingHe noted that Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain, data analytics and quantum computing are central to enhancing service delivery and administrative efficiency.
Key digital governance measures announced and highlighted at the conclave include:- Blockchain-Based Certification: Plans are underway to issue blockchain-verified certificates to secure citizen data and prevent fraud.
- Rural Connectivity and Inclusive Delivery: High-speed digital infrastructure will be extended to rural regions via T-Fiber, alongside targeted doorstep delivery of government services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
- Paperless Administration: The state is expanding its ‘Digital Office Project’ to transition departments toward fully paperless workflows.
