Jansons Property has acquired a 4.5-acre site at Thames Valley Park in Reading with an estimated gross development value of £35m, in its latest expansion in the region. The undeveloped plot is in a prime position on the park and Jansons said it would weigh up a number of options before bringing forward a development proposal. The firm added that the purchase was part of its long-term investment strategy of identifying well-located employment sites across the Thames Valley and that it was seeking further development opportunities. It said Thames Valley Park, which is home to Microsoft, Oracle and Sanofi, was one of the region’s premier business parks, and would strengthen its portfolio of strategically located employment land across London and the South East. “We continue to actively pursue allocated employment sites, existing industrial sites and business parks with medium-term development potential.”
