Kathmandu, August 7: Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has launched the ‘Bill Jitau’ feature on its mobile banking app, MBL M-Smart, to support the Inland Revenue Department’s Taxpayer Incentive Gift Program. According to the Government of Nepal’s budget for the fiscal year 2083/84, the Inland Revenue Department introduced the Taxpayer Incentive Gift Program to encourage consumers to collect bills, promote digital payments, and make the tax system more transparent. Under the program, eligible consumers will have an opportunity to win cash prizes through regular lucky draws. Under the program, the Inland Revenue Department conducts regular lucky draws from eligible transactions.
