Kathmandu, Aug. 7: A consumer who purchased goods worth just Rs 250 from Shiva Krishna General Store has won the Rs 1 million bumper prize under the government’s taxpayer incentive scheme. The Inland Revenue Department announced the results of the first bumper draw on Thursday, covering purchases made during the first 15 days of the Nepali month of Shrawan. The winning coupon number for the Rs 1 million cash prize is 007 315 254 493. In addition to the bumper winner, 15 other consumers each won cash prizes of Rs 100,000. The department announced the winners during a program held at the Ministry of Finance.
