The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has published the full list of 25 gastrointestinal conditions that may qualify people for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) worth up to £194.90 a week, or £779.60 every four weeks. The latest DWP figures show 40,458 active PIP claims linked to gastrointestinal conditions across Great Britain. The DWP assesses how difficult claimants find specific tasks, including preparing food, managing medicines, washing, dressing, socialising and handling money.
