BROMSGROVE Rovers AFC will now play Kingston Alliance in their next pre-season friendly after announcing a change to their warm-up schedule, writes Neil Gordon. The Greens were due to play AFC Bromsgrove on Saturday, August 8, but their opponents withdrew, and Rovers will instead play Kingston Alliance at Cooksey Lane. Kick-off is 12.30pm. Meanwhile, Rovers reserve side will also be in action this Saturday, with a friendly against Redditch Borough at Cherry Tree Walk. The first team secured a creditable 1-1 draw with Birmingham Albion in their opening friendly last weekend, and will visit Alcester Sunday FC on Tuesday, August 11.
