San Andreas, CA…One deceased person was found in the fire. Our prayers are with the family of the deceased and all of those whose lives have been forever changed in just a few days. Red Cross can assist residents who have homes that were damaged or destroyed if it meets their criteria. Proof of residency, photo ID, and proof of damage can be submitted with the Red Cross at either evacuation shelter to get the process started. Residents have up to 14 days to contact Red Cross for help after the shelters close with a few exceptions.
