TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Construction on the first phase of Project Uptown is nearly complete, with developers targeting a January 2027 opening for the Tempo by Hilton hotel. Michael Young, superintendent at EBCO, says the project is entering its final stage. "This really brings a lot of life to the northern part of Tucson," Young said. Project Uptown will span roughly 500,000 square feet on the northwest side and is expected to bring more than 100 new jobs to the community. The Tempo by Hilton is just the first phase of Project Uptown.
