The funding, from the Wolfson Foundation, will be used by the Bridges Centre to improve the Social Circles area at Monmouth’s Drybridge House. Mark Walton, chairman of trustees at Bridges Centre, said: "We are enormously grateful to the Wolfson Foundation for this generous award. Mike Logan, wellbeing director, said: "Social Circles is about friendship, independence and helping people to remain connected to their community. While the building is currently closed, the Bridges Centre continues to deliver its wellbeing services throughout Monmouthshire. The grant from the Wolfson Foundation will fund the additional accessibility and dementia-friendly enhancements not covered by insurance.
