Cambridge’s Ping Pong Parlour has reopened today (August 7) at the Grafton Centre in a temporary location, nearly a year after it shut to make way for ongoing redevelopment works. Subjit Jassy, director at Pioneer Group, said: "The Ping Pong Parlour was a very popular space, and we know a lot of people were disappointed when it had to close last year. "We are pleased that, working with local ward councillors and Table Tennis England, we have been able to find an alternative location for ping pong tables within the Grafton Centre. Chris Brown, director of table tennis development at Table Tennis England, described the Cambridge Ping Pong Parlour as "one of our biggest success stories." He said: "We are pleased that ping pong will be returning temporarily to the Grafton Centre while we continue to explore opportunities for a new permanent location for one of our Ping Hubs."
