The scheme, part of the Community Hero Awards, celebrates individuals in Yorkshire and the Humber who make a positive difference in their communities. The awards are running across 31 pubs in the region, including the Cavendish. Customers can nominate someone by scanning a QR code on promotional materials inside the pub, which links to an online entry form. Winners at each pub will be given a certificate and a bottle of fizz, while three national winners will each receive £1,000 to donate to a local charity or community group of their choice.
