James is a familiar voice on BBC Radio 5 Live, co-hosting a weekly show and podcast with John Robins. Interestingly, before his full-time plunge into comedy, James dabbled in various jobs, including charity work and part-time work in a café. James' comedy journey began with the Eisteddfod Maes B comedy award in 1999, leading him to go full-time in 2008. Supporting Rhod Gilbert on his 2010 national tour, "Rhod Gilbert and the Award-Winning Mince Pie," was a highlight, with James performing to more than 1,500 people and later describing the experience as feeling like a "pop star." Last year, James returned to performing stand-up in English after a nearly decade-long hiatus.
