Reform UK has announced that if it ever formed a government it would pay members of the public for tip-offs that led to successful prosecutions of high-street shops employing illegal workers.
Yusuf said his party would pledge to make bosses of companies employing illegal migrants personally liable for breaches.
He said in a statement to the Daily Express: “Under a Reform government, Britain will have the harshest penalties in the world for employing illegal migrants.
“Bosses of companies employing illegal migrants will be sent to prison, and their companies fined 10% of their global revenues.”
Many of the illegal workers will have arrived in the UK by means of small boat arrivals over the English Channel.
