(WAKA Action 8 News) – Hundreds of people got the chance to check out a wide range of potential jobs and meet future employers Thursday in Selma. It was all part of Alabama Congresswoman Terri Sewell’s 15th annual job fair, held this year at Wallace Community College. The job fair brought over 75 employers under one roof with job opportunities in a dozen different industries, including forestry, automotive, law enforcement, medical, and mental health. “Industries such as manufacturing, transportation, law enforcement, hospitality, automobile manufacturing, it goes on and on,” says Congresswoman Sewell. Sewell hosts her annual job fair in a different city within her congressional district each year.
