Care home remains in special measures as CQC concerns 'not fully addressed'

Significant safety concerns identified by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at Beechwood Care Home in Northallerton had still not been fully addressed, the watchdog said.
Inspectors found the service remained in breach of regulations relating to safe care and treatment, medicines management and governance.
Northallerton's Beechwood care home has been placed in special measures and rated inadequate by the CQC after multiple incidents of residents injuring themselves.
The latest findings follow an earlier inspection between December and February, when Beechwood was downgraded from good to inadequate and placed into special measures.
