DULUTH — Nearly all of Northeastern Minnesota is in a severe drought, and the dry conditions could persist into fall, raising concerns of a lengthy wildfire season. Despite low water levels and severe drought covering most of Northeastern Minnesota, a small group found an area to jump into the water. One of the impacts of severe drought is that river flows are typically very low, according to the National Drought Information System.
