During the June visit, inspectors found rodent droppings in ‘numerous’ food production areas which, they said, indicated ‘widespread pest activity and inadequate monitoring and control’. ‘Old mouse droppings’ were further discovered in multiple locations, including in the café area, inspectors added. A Morrisons spokeswoman said: "As soon as we were made aware of the rating, we took immediate action to address and resolve the issues raised.
