A proceeds of crime hearing at Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday heard forensic accounting evidence relating to Nevers was missing.
Judge James House KC adjourned the hearing until 2 October and warned Nevers: "There is still ongoing work in your case.
He had realisable assets of £13,746, which the judge ordered him to pay back within three months.
Lincolnshire Police had discovered Nevers was making regular trips from south Lincolnshire to the Reading area.
Mobile phone searches revealed contact between Nevers and Barrass as well as evidence of Class A drug dealing.
