The company has secured funding from NatWest Cymru, which will be used to expand its biogas facility and further support its champion sustainable farming. Since 2013, GP Biotec has evolved from a traditional mixed farming enterprise into a leader in clean energy generation, now producing renewable gas, electricity, and high-quality biofertiliser. Nathan Davies, relationship manager at NatWest Cymru, said: "GP Biotec is a fantastic example of rural innovation in action. "We’re proud to support GP Biotec’s continued growth." The funding is part of NatWest’s Growing Together plan, which focuses on supporting major infrastructure projects—including energy from waste—across the UK.
