Barry Martin died in January 2023 following injuries he sustained tackling a blaze at the Jenners building in Edinburgh. After the father-of-two passed away, the Barry Martin Foundation was created to help children facing grief and other families going through the loss of a loved one. “After he died, the boys suggested turning those journals into a book that could help other children facing bereavement.
