A previous licensing application by St Ives Assets Ltd, owner of the Treloyhan Manor Hotel, to sell alcohol in its grounds until 1am was refused last September. However, another licensing sub-committee has now given permission for the business to sell alcohol for people dining at its al fresco Manor Grill barbecue restaurant. He said the application was materially different from the previous application. It currently operates a ‘bring your own’ alcohol option, which Treloyhan Manor wants to replace with a licence allowing the table service of drinks. Mr Craig told the sub-committee that Treloyhan Manor was developed into 23 self-contained apartments.
