Emergency services were called to Newport Road, near Caldicot Fire Station, following reports of a road traffic collision at around 8.15pm on August 4. Pictures from the scene appeared to show a damaged car close to the junction near the fire station, with emergency services in attendance. A spokesperson for the force said: "We received a report of a road traffic collision on Newport Road, Caldicot, at around 8.15pm on Tuesday, August 4. "The collision involved a single vehicle colliding with a wall; no injuries were reported." Traffic was affected in the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.
