The discovery was made in the coastal area of Caer Bwdy during the search for Ben, 47, who was last heard from at around midday on Wednesday, August 5. It is understood that he had planned to go rock climbing in either the Carreg y Barcud area near Trelerw or Caer Bwdy Bay, just outside St Davids. A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "As part of the search for missing Ben from St Davids, a body has been found in the coastal area of Caer Bwdy, Pembrokeshire. "[His family] is being supported by specially trained officers, and we asked that the family's privacy is respected while enquiries continue". Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police led the search for Ben, and they were supported by HM Coastguard and the RNLI.
