The Beck Foot road is set to close for approximately one day to allow for bridge examination works. An approximately 300-metre section of the B6257, Beck Foot, is set to shut in both directions from its junction with the U5294, running north. The planned closure is set to take place on September 20. Westmorland and Furness Council say traffic will be redirected via the B6257, A685, A683 and A684.
