The Ride for Hope will take place at the Salt Ayre cycletrack, with participants encouraged to complete as many laps as possible to help reach the goal of raising £18,000 in 18,000 laps.
The event, organised by Salt Ayre Cog Set and Lancaster Cycling Club in partnership with Lancaster City Council, will raise funds for St John’s Hospice and PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.
"Every lap pedaled and every pound donated helps provide care, support, and hope to people in our community when they need it most.
Mr Andrews said: "We’d love to see as many people from the community join us for this special event.
"Whether you want to ride one lap or 100, you’ll be making a real difference to two charities that do so much to support our communities."
