BRAINERD — People’s Security Company, a subsidiary of Crow Wing Power, announced its monitored security customer accounts are transitioning to Heartland Security, a cooperatively owned security provider based in Melrose, Minnesota. At the same time, People’s Security’s parent company is becoming an owner of Heartland Security, joining 13 other electric cooperatives across Minnesota and Iowa.
