BRAINERD — People’s Security Company, a subsidiary of Crow Wing Power, announced its monitored security customer accounts are transitioning to Heartland Security, a cooperatively owned security provider based in Melrose, Minnesota.
At the same time, People’s Security’s parent company is becoming an owner of Heartland Security, joining 13 other electric cooperatives across Minnesota and Iowa.

Our customers will be in good hands,” said Tim Thompson, CEO of People’s Security Company and Crow Wing Power, in a news release.
Heartland Security has provided residential and commercial security services across Minnesota and Iowa since 1999.
