BRAINERD — Brian and Deb Thuringer, longtime owners of Madden's Resort on Gull Lake, are the Brainerd Lakes Chamber's 2026 Business Legacy Award winners.

In the 1990s, ownership of Madden’s Resort on Gull Lake transitioned to Deb (Madden) Thuringer, daughter of Jim Madden, and her husband, Brian.
“Brian and Deb formed a remarkable leadership team, each bringing unique strengths to the business,” the chamber said.
