More than 40 local vendors, live music and family-friendly fall activities will take over a South Philly block when Harvest Jawn returns Sunday, Sept. 20. The third annual street festival runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 2031 S. Juniper St. More than 40 local vendors will be set up throughout the festival, along with food trucks and drinks. More than 10 community organizations and causes will participate, including PASA Sustainable Agriculture, Fishtails Animal Rescue, Little Garden Club and South Philly Action Coalition. Harvest Jawn is organized by South Philly Food Co-Op, a community-owned grocery store with more than 2,800 member-owners.
