A car crashed into the back of a Muni bus, causing little apparent damage to the bus, but crushing the front end of the car which then caught fire on McAllister Street Thursday evening. The incident happened around 5:20 pm Thursday, on McAllister Street between Divisadero and Broderick streets. A gray, two-door BMW traveling westbound appeared to have crashed into the back of a 5-Fulton bus and subsequently caught fire.
