Chelsea would also surely benefit from offloading flop strikers Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson and bringing in Thiago as an upgrade. However, the 25-year-old seemingly won’t be available, and in truth he might do better to wait one more season anyway. We’ve seen more than a few one-season-wonders in the Premier League, so Thiago could do with proving himself with another strong campaign in 2026/27.
