The First 50 Club, launched by the NHS charity My Charity, invites businesses across Sussex to raise funds for University Hospitals Sussex by turning a £50 seed fund into as much money as possible by March 2027. The money raised will support cancer care, children’s services, dementia support, stroke recovery, elderly care and staff wellbeing programmes at hospitals across the region. John Price, corporate partnerships manager at My Charity, said: "The First 50 Club is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to come together, build valuable connections and support the NHS services that touch the lives of more than 2.2 million people across Sussex. Members of the club will have access to exclusive networking events, fundraising experiences and a growing community of purpose-driven businesses. Creations Hair Salon in Chichester, a member of the club and winner of the Best Community Engagement Award, raised funds through a 24-hour cutathon.
